Christians and Muslims together against violence in Faisalabad
On the occasion of Muhammad’s birthday, which fell in the middle of Holy Week, the Diocesan Commission for Interfaith Dialogue and the Ulama Council met to condemn violence done in the name of religion.

Discovering the Bible to bring the Christian message to everyone
In one of the oldest Catholic villages of Pakistan a congress is held to discuss the Holy Scriptures and the Church’s mission. It is part of the Year of the Bible launched by Pakistani bishops. It can “rekindle people’s passion for the word of God [. . .] so that they can pass on to others what they have received,” says the secretary of the Catholic Bible Commission of Pakistan.

Punjab: Muslims fund the construction of a Catholic church
The new church is being built in Khalsabad, a village near Gojra. The mud chapel used by eight local Catholic families was destroyed in the last monsoon. Muslim farmers and businesses gave financial support. For a Catholic clergyman, "This is a dialogue of life," even though Pakistan is famous for its violence.
