Russian Orthodox Christians celebrate Pentecost in Pyongyang
A delegation of lay and religious has arrived in the North Korean capital from Vladivostok, where the only two Orthodox deacons in the country studied. They will celebrate the liturgical feast of the Holy Spirit together.

From Pyongyang to Vladivostok to learn the Orthodox Easter Liturgy
Two priests, ordained last August by the North Korean Orthodox Church, visited Vladivostok to learn about Lenten celebrations and the Easter Liturgy. The links between the two Churches remains, both under the authority of Alexi II.

North Korea: New anti-TB sanatoriums for the Eugene Bell Foundation
The Kim regime has granted a humanitarian organization - which also includes several Catholic priests - permission to run 12 sanatoriums. Fr. Gerard Hammond, who has worked with the North for 20 years: "The government is more awareof the problem and is making some important concessions. For our part, we do not hide our Catholic identity" .

Pyongyang: Orthodox community subject to authority of Alexei II
The Russian Orthodox Synod has decided to accept the request submitted by the chairman of the Orthodox Committee of North Korea, Giorgio Ho Ir Zin, and has welcomed the North Korean Orthodox community among its members.
