Beijing (AsiaNews) - The National Health Commission reported that there were only 11 new positive coronavirus cases and seven more deaths yesterday, confirming a reduction in the epidemic. Only 8 cases come from the epicenter of Hubei; three new cases of infection are "return", that is of people coming from infected countries: two cases are registered in Shanghai; one in Beijing.

For two days, the authorities have established that anyone entering China, from any country, affected by coronavirus or not, must undergo a 14-day self-quarantine.

Yesterday the World Health Organization called the Covid-19 infection "pandemic", having now spread to 119 countries. Worldwide, infections are 127 thousand; more than 46 thousand are outside China. The deaths in the rest of the world are 1541. The most affected countries are Italy with over 12462 cases and Iran with more than 10 thousand infections.
