Rome (AsiaNews) – The Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions, “has learned with joy of the release of Fr. Giancarlo Bossi”, and in a press release “wishes to express its profound gratitude firstly to God, for having safely returned our confrere. The Lord truly listened to the intense prayers of so many people, Christian, Muslim, and of other faiths, who united themselves to our prayer, and above all to the Holy Father who again this very night prayed for our Fr. Giancarlo”.
Numerous initiatives were launched calling for the release of Fr. Giancarlo. We now that others are still underway. May these initiatives become an occasion for celebration, as is the case with the missionary’s family in particular his mother, Amalia, who spoke to him on the phone the day of her birthday.
