More children killed by a madman in a Shandong asylum

In the attack three children and a teacher were killed and 12 others were injured. The murderer, a young man of 28, surrendered to police after the massacre. Witnesses said he entered the school pretending to be a relative. This is the sixth attack on children since the beginning of the year.

Beijing (AsiaNews / Agencies) - A new attack against the kindergartens in China. Yesterday, three children and a teacher were killed and 12 others were wounded in a kindergarten in Zibo city, Shandong Province (East China), after a man broke in the institute with a knife. After the massacre the murderer was handed himself over to authorities, who for now have not released any information on his identity.

According to a witness, the murderer is between 27 and 28 years of age and entered the kindergarten pretending to be a relative of a child pretending.

This is the sixth attack on a kindergarten so far this year,. The last occurred May 12 in Shaanxi, where again in a fit of madness, six children and one teacher were killed and 20 were wounded.

The attacks are not interrelated and have led authorities to pay greater attention to the diagnosis of serious mental illness or severe stress and avoid copycat killings the police have given the order to restrict media coverage of such attacks.
