In half-page adverts in Jordan's three main newspapers, 57 members of the al-Khalayleh family - including a brother and cousin - also reiterated their strong allegiance to the king.
Zarqawi claimed responsibility for the November 9 deadly attacks on three Amman hotels that killed 58 people, and threatened to kill the king in an audiotape released on Friday.
"Your star is fading. You will not escape your fate, you descendant of traitors. We will be able to reach your head and chop it off," al-Zarqawi said, referring to the king.
