The day allows men and women religious to relive Pope Francis's first World Youth Day. Coming from different congregations, they sang, prayed and reread some of the homilies Pope Francis delivered in Rio. The meeting was "a great inspiration to lead a religious life of commitment and passion."

A day is set aside to study Porta Fidei, the papal letter announcing the Year of Faith (11 October 2012-24 November 2013). Local Churches must start from the Catechism of the Catholic Church to make Christ a “living presence” in the life of the community.
