Bosco Pereira

  • Bosco’s story or “the gift of sobriety through the mantle of Mary’s love”

Son of good Catholic parents, he started drinking at the age of 17. Alcohol took away his family, work, friends, and a girlfriend until he met Brother Cyril, who ran the Mary’s Clan rehab centre at the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount (Bandra). Bosco is now married, with two children and taken over the centre. "God doesn’t always promise you the things that you have lost, but definitely promises you all things new and beautiful."
