Delhi lowers inflation, but food prices remain high
Food prices in shops and markets are high. However, according to official records inflation is at its lowest rate in two years, dropping to 6.55%. For the executive, the goal is to reach 6% by the end of March. Fuel and energy prices also remain high, with an index of 14.21%.
