Card Filoni: Pope's Letter to the Church in China still waiting for an answer
The prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples makes public his reflection on the five years that have passed since the publication of Benedict XVI's Letter to Chinese Catholics. The prelate talks about the difficulties in achieving unity between official and underground Catholics, the violations to religious freedom and the receding positive signs of a dialogue between the Holy See and China. He calls for renewed dialogue.
