Madhya Pradesh: Kumbh Mela begins. A Catholic dispensary caring for Hindu pilgrims
The rally takes place from April 22 to May 21 in the city of Ujjain. The largest Hindu pilgrimage in the world, about 50 million pilgrims are expected to bathe in the waters of the sacred river Kshipra. 13 Akharas of the country, the training school for seers and holy men, also take place.
