The liturgical memory of Mother Teresa of Calcutta fell on 5 September. Sisters brought rice, red lentils, biscuits, and clothes to 130 Christian families, an example of Mother Teresa's real love to the needy in the slums.

India has about 326 million migrant workers out of a population of 1.2 billion. Migrants are denied dignity and access to services.

The ceremony took place on April 23, Sunday of Divine Mercy. The catechism lasted five months during which the children learned the importance of the sacrament of the Eucharist. Sister catechist: "We planted seeds of faith and provided them with tools to help it grow."
