Bangladesh, convicted to death 8 Islamists for New Year's massacre
They're all militants of Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI), a banned organization since 2005. In 2001 it killed 10 people during Bangla New Year celebrations. Months later they put a bomb inside The Most Holy Redeemer church (Khulna diocese), killing 10 Catholics. Other six Islamists got life imprisonment.
