India first to exceed $ 100 billion in migrant remittances

INDIA

According to the latest United Nations report on migration in the world - released on May 8 in Dhaka - India was the largest recipient of remittances from abroad in 2022 with 111 billion US dollars, overtaking Mexico (61.1 billion dollars), China ($51 billion), the Philippines ($38.05 billion) and France ($30.04 billion). According to the report, India is the first nation to reach and surpass the $100 billion mark. Its revenue from 2010 to 2022 more than doubled.

ISRAEL-PALESTINE

A group of Israeli settlers yesterday launched an attack on the headquarters of the UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) in East Jerusalem, setting fire to some trees located in the perimeter of the building in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
