First Muhammad museum in the world in Dubai

The ruler of the Arab emirate of Dubai plans a colossal monument, the first dedicated to the life of the prophet.

Dubai (AsiaNews/Agencies) – The rich and extravagant city of Dubai will become home to the first museum dedicated to Muhammad. The pioneering project is the brainchild of Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.

The project aims to shed light on the life and legacy of the prophet and the divine message he lived for, thus introducing the message of eternal love and peace Islam gave the entire mankind.

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority will supervise and implement the colossal project to show to all nations the bases of the second largest religion in the world.

Home to more than 100 nationalities, Dubai is known for its flourishing trade and luxury tourism, keen on playing a role not only as a bridge between the East and the West, but also between the Islamic world and the rest of the world.
