Rourkela (AsiaNews) - Priests, religious and lay Catholics in Rourkela (Orissa) must participate in evangelization because "all of us, as baptized, are called to be missionaries." This is the invitation launched by Msgr. Kishor Kumar Kujur, bishop of the diocese, in his message for World Mission Sunday, which this year falls on October 19.

"I exhort all the Catholics of the diocese - says the bishop - to ignite in themselves the spirit of evangelization and participate in the missionary activities of the universal church. We can participate in the missionary activities in different countries of the world or we can support the missionaries working in different parts of the world by our financial contribution as well as our prayers".

Msgr. Kujur says he is proud that the" diocese is sending large number of priests, nuns and brothers to work as missionaries. I wish we generously contribute financially also for the missionaries activities throughout the world."
