Card. Sin rushed to hospital; Radio Veritas prays for his health

Manila (AsiaNews) - Card. Jaime Sin, archbishop emeritus of Manila, was rushed  to the Card. Santos Medical Centre  today. Until this evening no news have come from Church officials. At 7.55 pm Radio Veritas of the Manila Archdiocese reported that the cardinal is in stable conditions.

The 76 year-old cardinal is affected by kidney problems. His aide, Fr. Jun, would not say for how long the Cardinal would remain at the Medical Center.

Meanwhile, Radio Veritas will air the Rosary prayer for the well-loved Cardinal. The radio station asked the faithful to go to churches praying for a quick ricover of Cardinal Sin.
