Today's news: three Chinese victims among the thousands killed in the war between Israel and Hamas; Dozens of Filipino migrants sue US company over working conditions at World Cup construction sites in Qatar; Beijing repatriated over 500 North Korean exiles at the end of the Asian Games; Japan wants to disband the Unification Church; The low-cost carrier flydubai is the first international carrier to operate in Kabul; Opposition' candidate identified for next year's elections in Russia.

ISRAEL - PALESTINE
The Israeli army has ordered the evacuation "within 24 hours" of 1.1 million Palestinians living in the northern area of Gaza, who will have to move south in anticipation of the massive military offensive. Human Rights Watch (HRW) accused Israel of using white phosphorus munitions in operations in Gaza and Lebanon, putting civilians at risk of serious and long-term injury. To coincide with Islamic Friday prayers, Hamas called for a day of general "mobilization". Netanyahu shows photos of massacred children.

CHINA - ISRAEL
The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that there are at least three Chinese victims in the war that broke out between Israel and Hamas. Added to these are several injured and two missing, whose fate remains unknown. Spokesman Wang Wenbin adds that Beijing is closely following the escalation, working for peace and stability and at the same time renewing its invitation to the parties for an immediate ceasefire.

PHILIPPINES - QATAR
Dozens of Filipino migrants who worked on the construction of the stadiums for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have filed a lawsuit against the US construction company Jacobs Solutions Inc, which allegedly subjected them to dangerous and inhumane conditions. They would have been forced to live in cramped and dirty barracks, working for up to 72 hours straight in the scorching heat, without food or water.

KOREA - CHINA
Beijing repatriated more than 500 North Korean fugitives in the days after the Asian Games ended in Hangzhou. Most of the exiles were civilians and religious, arrested while trying to reach South Korea via the country, along a known migration route involving Tumen, Hunchun, Changbai, Dandong and Nanping. Seoul has expressed its protest.

JAPAN
Tokyo wants to go to court to strip the Unification Church of its legal status as a religion, eliminating tax exemptions and making the group's operations in the country more difficult. Also known as Moon's sect, the movement ended up at the center of an investigation after the killing of former prime minister Shinzo Abe in July 2022. The assassin was convinced that Abe had links to the sect.

AFGHANISTAN - UAE
Low-cost carrier flydubai announces flights to Kabul. It is the first international airline to resume connections with the Afghan capital since the withdrawal of US forces in 2021, with the Taliban's return to power. Biweekly flights will begin on November 15. The operation of the airport - destroyed - is crucial to relaunching the economy. Kam Air and Ariana Afghan Airlines operate limited services to Dubai, Moscow, Islamabad and Istanbul.

RUSSIA
The "opposition candidate" was identified to give a façade of credibility to the 2024 presidential elections. It would be the Moscow municipal deputy Boris Nadezhdin, a member of the liberal Yabloko party, who would have accepted with the blessing of the Kremlin, also because he is a indigestible for Alexei Naval'nyj, the most authoritative exponent of the anti-Putin front.

KYRGYZSTAN
Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit, his first trip abroad in 2023, after the ruling against him by the Hague war crimes tribunal. The Kremlin leader was received with full honors by the Prime Minister of Bishkek, Akylbek Žaparov, before seeing President Sadyr Žaparov and participating in the meeting of the heads of state of the Union of Independent States (SNG).
