Nepalese climber summits Mount Everest for record 15th time

Kathmandu (AsiaNews/Agencies) - A Nepalese mountain climber broke his own record for the fourth time and made his 15th summit of the world's tallest peak, Mount Everest, Nepal's tourism ministry announced on Wednesday.

Apa Sherpa, 48, reached the summit of the 8,848-metre-high Everest early on Tuesday, the ministry said in a statement. Mr Apa first scaled Everest on May 10, 1990.
