Bishop Catechetical Commission Launched in Internet

Manila (Asianews) The Episcopal Commission on Catechesis and Catholic Education (ECCCE) of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines launched today, April 2, its own website: www.ecceonline.org.The commission's formal entry into the worldwide web signals its commitment to more effectively link together all those who work for the ministries of catechesis and catholic education, by providing all the information and communication tools they need to perform their mission with more case and greater knowledge: from programs and materials for catechists and catholic educators to all the modules that have been prepared by the different catechetical centers in the country. The launching also serves as a gift to Cardinal Jaime Sin, Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Manila, who celebrates his golden jubilee as a priest on Saturday, April 3.  The Cardinal's staunch support of catechetical programs and catholic schools has paved the way for the development and expansion of catechetical programs in the Archdiocese.
